Local Author and Prosecutor Richard Simon In-Person
Meet local author Richard Simon, a Senior Deputy District Attorney in Ventura County. He served as a prosecutor in the Golden State Killer case and has handled numerous other high-profile trials. Drawing on his real-life courtroom experience, Richard has written two crime thrillers set in Ventura County: Bring Me to Life and Jake’s Run. Join us to hear about his journey from law school to prosecuting homicide cases to writing crime fiction.
